Junior MYF

For school year 2026/27, we are experimenting with combining all of our children and youth classes for active learning and community building. If you have questions about this, you can inquire through our contact​ page.

For the 6th-8th graders of Junior MYF (Mennonite Youth Fellowship), we build on what they learned as elementary-aged students in Sunday School.

Specific emphases include

• knowing they are loved and valued by God

• learning the Biblical story

• engaging with key concepts of the Anabaptist faith (believer’s baptism and non-violence)

• learning more about Jesus​

• making connections between faith and relevant issues in their lives

• participating in service to others

• celebrating individual giftings

• connecting with the larger AMC community

• building relationships with each other

• discovering their own ways of expressing faith
