Rachel Nolt
pastor
Rachel enjoys hearing people’s stories and noticing where God is at work in their lives. Raised on a dairy farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Rachel was a school teacher and church office administrator before entering pastoral ministry. Prior to coming to Akron Mennonite, she served on the pastoral team at Silverwood Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana. Rachel graduated from Goshen College and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and completed Clinical Pastoral Education at Lancaster General Hospital. She and her husband Steve have two teenage daughters.
Matt enjoys working at the intersection of peace building, faith, and the arts. During his twenties, Matt spent time in Germany through Eastern Mennonite Missions, working with youth and planning worship events in local Mennonite communities. His undergraduate work was completed at West Chester University where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Theory and he has his M.Div. from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Justice from EMU’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding.

Rebecca Pereverzoff

Rebecca was born and raised in Mississippi. Her interest in living things of all kinds led her to major in Biology. That same interest took her to Bangladesh through Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), to work with village women in Agriculture. Another term with MCC in Jordan soon followed. As church administrator, she enjoys the wide variety of tasks, interacting with the congregation and staff, and the opportunity to help AMC carry out its vision. She is married to Paul, and they are the parents of Sarah.
