At Akron Mennonite Church, we acknowledge that the Church has not always lived up to its calling to love and welcome all people. Therefore, we strive to recognize the sacred worth and dignity of everyone. We are enriched by active inclusion, celebrating the ways that the image of God is revealed in the fluid spectrum of humanity. We work to be a safe place and invite everyone to build our community together. All are welcome to fully participate in the life and ministry of our congregation, including membership, baptism, marriage, pastoral ministry, and leadership (voluntary and employed).
